This is a beautiful vintage Tirschenreuth Bavaria porcelain plate, hand-painted with a vibrant apple motif. The plate features a green background that fades to a lighter shade at the top, a scalloped edge, and a decorative 22K gold rim. The front of the plate showcases a branch with three detailed apples and a delicate apple blossom.
The back of the plate is marked with the Tirschenreuth Bavaria shield and "Hand Painted Bavarian Porcelain." This piece is a lovely example of early 20th-century German porcelain artistry. It measures 8.25 inches in diameter and is approximately 1 inch high.
This plate is in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, or crazing. There is some minor wear to the gold trim, consistent with age. Manufacturing period for this plate would be circa 1900-1927.
