Beautiful vintage Kundo torsion anniversary clock, made in Germany, featuring a tall clear glass dome and classic brass construction throughout.
The clock displays the traditional Kundo styling: a round dial with black Arabic numerals, ornate black hands, and delicate floral accents around the inner ring.
The movement is housed in a polished brass frame with four vertical columns and a rotating torsion pendulum made of four brass spheres.
The backplate shows the Kundo maker’s mark and West‑German manufacturing details. The brass base measures 7.75" in diameter and includes three adjustable leveling legs.
With the dome in place, the clock stands approximately 12" tall and weighs 4 lbs 4 oz, giving it a substantial, quality feel.
The tall glass dome is original and has a small chip on the inside near the base, not visible when displayed and does not affect stability.
The clock is missing its wind‑up key, but it can be wound counter‑clockwise using pliers. The torsion pendulum can rotate, but the clock does not keep consistent time, making it ideal for display, restoration, or parts.
The brass base shows age‑consistent wear around the lower outer rim, adding authentic vintage character. Overall, this is a beautiful, rare Kundo dome clock with excellent display presence.
