This is a vintage 12‑tile mosaic artwork titled “Hunt in the Park” by J. Pifarré, beautifully presented in a substantial custom wood frame.
The scene is dye‑sublimated across twelve 2.5" square ceramic tiles, forming a vivid countryside fox‑hunting tableau with riders in red coats, hounds in motion, rolling green fields, a stone bridge, and soft golden sky tones.
The colors are rich, crisp, and well‑defined, with excellent continuity across the tile seams.
The frame is crafted from warm‑toned wood with a 1.75" wide perimeter, shaped with beveled edges and smooth contours. Inside is a 1/4" wide gold‑gilded inner frame, adding depth and elegance.
A brass engraved nameplate reading “J. Pifarré” is mounted at the bottom center.
Overall framed size is 14.25" wide × 11.75" high × 1.375" deep. Weight is 2 pounds, 5 ounces.
The piece is wired and ready to hang.
A striking, classic equestrian artwork with timeless decorative appeal.
Circa: 1970s–1980
