Celebrate the legacy of American youth racing with this highly detailed 1:12 scale die-cast model by Nylint, commemorating the 1934 All-American Soap Box Derby Winner.

Crafted in 1999 to honor the inaugural race, this vintage-style racer features a silver and blue body, red wheels, and authentic sponsor decals including The Muncie Star and Evers Laundry—a nod to the original winning car built by 11-year-old Robert Turner of Muncie, Indiana.

🏆 Historical Note:
The first official Soap Box Derby was held in Dayton, Ohio on August 19, 1934, sponsored by Chevrolet. Over 300 kids raced homemade gravity-powered cars made from crates, buggy wheels, and scrap wood. Turner’s car, famously built from a saloon bar, won the race and helped launch a nationwide tradition.
