This 1980 M.I. Hummel Annual Plate by W. Goebel Porzellanfabrik (model Hum 273) is the 10th edition in the beloved annual series.
Hand-painted in Rödental, West Germany, it features a raised relief of a young girl in a red dress with braided hair, carrying a large gray backpack and a basket holding a doll.
Behind her is an embossed building, possibly a schoolhouse, adding nostalgic charm to the scene.
The rim is adorned with raised stars, and the year “1980” is prominently displayed in red at the bottom.
